BACKGROUND
Grani & Partners continues to consider the customer as its first priority.
In an effort to further reinforce this in providing an improved service, Grani & Partners HK Ltd is established in Hong Kong in late 2002. Controlled 100% by Grani & Partners S.p.A., it is tasked with identifying and selecting the best available and most appropriate suppliers in the Far East as well as with managing communications between the suppliers and headquarters in Italy.
Grani & Partners HK Ltd. works closely with Grani & Partners China Ltd. (Shenzhen), who undertakes thorough inspections and audits of designated suppliers. The synergies this relationship represents ensure Grani & Partners enjoys a relationship only with those suppliers that fulfil all necessary safety, labour legislation and quality standards criteria.
Operational management requires that all production processes are fully optimised against time and cost benchmarks, at every stage from the design of the initial prototype through to the delivery of the end products.
An export department is added in 2004, further widening the operational scope of Grani & Partners S.p.A. in the world market. As a result, Grani & Partners can soon boast a wider range of clients, such as De Agostini Japan, Gruppo Dickie Toys-Simba, Doyusha, Dolci Preziosi Iberica, Mark & Spencers, Masudaya, Giochi Preziosi Spagna, Giochi Preziosi Hong Kong, GIG. Iron Wood Group / Playground Maniacs (USA) and others.
The headquarters of Grani & Partners HK Ltd. today stretches across 1,000 square meters (200 of which are dedicated to a permanent show room) and employs 40 people, led by Fabio Verga, who has a wealth of experience of operating in the Far East.
